Gameplay
Silverado Showdown is a 3D third person action game made by my university group "Octoblind" (me and 4 colleagues) in 2021 second half, based in the movie "Silverado".
This aim of this project was to make a transmedia game of one movie from a list we were given. We chose Silverado 'cause we saw a "action potential" we could implement in the game.


The main game reference we got for Silverado Showdown was an old arcade game called "Blood Brothers". The aim mechanic was taken from there, but we transformed into 3D and added spacial movimentation in an endless generated scenario.
For the aesthetics, we got Shooty Skies as reference.

You play the role of Emmet, a comboy on his way to California, but first you need to finish the bandits in Silverado.
There is three types of bandits:



As the game is an endless runner, the player has some items to boost his score.
Like the "doubles" and the "coins".
You also have two types of guns to fight agains them... and destroy some "goddamn barrels".
